When a campaign featuring two of South Africa’s best
loved brands, Coke and Blue Ribbon Bread is launched you
can be sure of one thing – success. Premier’s new Eat Drink and Talk promotion is bound
to be a success, a success not only for the two brands
involved, but also for each of the outlet owners who take
part.
Expanding on the success of the Daily Bread Daily Prizes
formula the upcoming promotion will also be giving
away scratch cards and T Shirts to members of the public,
which be supplied
from specially branded promotional trucks. The scratch
cards will give the shopper discounts on buying a combination
of
the two products (any Blue Ribbon loaf and 1,25l or
1,5l
Coke) of between 40c and R10.
Consumers can win in other ways as well. They will
be advised, both the through Premier’s travelling
road show and via point of sale materials that by placing
the Coke cap
inside the Blue Ribbon bag and posting it into an entry
box provided in store they will have the chance of
winning one
of 500 airtime vouchers for a year; new sim cards and
monthly airtime to the value of R1000. This aside from
the instant
discounts offered by the scratch cards.
This promotion is unique in that consumers are rewarded
for their loyalty to the two brands through being offered
the
chance to win before buying (the scratch cards), our
way of saying thank you to South African consumers
for their
many years of support.
The promotional activity will take place from the 17th
June to the 17th August in townships and suburbs across
South
Africa. Remember to tell your friends and family, EAT
